How we handle your information, and the terms that apply when you use our website or have us work on your vehicle.
ADC Vehicle Services Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a BMW repair specialist based at Unit 1 Parkmill Industrial Estate, Tame Street, Mossley, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL5 9BQ (Company No. 11382839). We are responsible for the personal information we hold about you. For any privacy matter, email adcbmwservices@gmail.com.
We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and look after your vehicle:
We do not take payments through this website, and we do not run a marketing mailing list.
When you enter a registration into our quote or sell tools, that registration is sent to the DVLA and DVSA (UK government services) to retrieve publicly available details such as the make, engine, fuel type and MOT history. This is used only to prepare your quote or offer. We do not receive or store information about the registered keeper.
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and offers, arrange and carry out work, and keep records of the jobs we’ve done. Our lawful bases are your consent (when you contact us), taking steps to enter into and perform a contract with you (booking and doing the work), and our legitimate interests in running and improving our business.
We never sell your information. We share it only where necessary to run our business — for example the government vehicle services above, trusted parts suppliers where relevant to your repair, and where required by law. Our website hosting and analytics are provided by third parties (such as our host and Google) who process limited data on our behalf.
We keep enquiry and job records only as long as needed for the work and for our normal business, accounting and legal obligations, after which they are securely deleted.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to object to or restrict how we use it — just email adcbmwservices@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to make the site work and Google Analytics cookies to understand — anonymously — how the site is used, so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some parts may be less convenient.
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any work we carry out on your vehicle. By using the site or booking work with us, you agree to them.
Any price given through our online tools, over the phone or by message is an estimate given in good faith, based on the information available at the time. It is not a fixed, final price until we have inspected the vehicle. If additional work or parts are needed, we’ll contact you and agree it before going ahead.
All work is by appointment. You confirm that you own the vehicle, or are authorised by the owner to instruct work on it. By booking your vehicle in, you authorise us to carry out the agreed work and any reasonable steps needed to complete it safely.
We take a booking deposit for every workshop appointment. The deposit secures your slot, allows us to order in any parts specific to your vehicle, and helps us avoid last-minute cancellations and no-shows that leave the workshop standing empty.
Booking deposits are strictly non-refundable. However, at our sole discretion we will rebook your appointment for another mutually convenient date, subject to availability.
Your deposit goes towards the final cost of the work.
We fit genuine or OEM-quality parts appropriate to the job. Warranty cover depends on whether a part is new or second-hand:
All warranties assume the vehicle is used and maintained normally. They do not cover faults caused by unrelated pre-existing problems, misuse, accident, or work later carried out by others. The specific warranty applying to your job will be confirmed to you in writing at the time.
Payment is due on completion of the work. You are welcome to pay when you collect the vehicle; however, we must be in receipt of cleared funds before the vehicle leaves our site. Where payment is made by bank transfer, this means the money must have fully arrived in our account — not simply been sent — before collection.
The instant quote and “Sell Your BMW” tools are provided to give a quick indication only. The figures they produce are indicative and not a binding offer. Vehicle data from third-party sources may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate, and any final price or offer is always confirmed by us directly.
We take great care with every vehicle. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for pre-existing faults unrelated to the work we carried out. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We may update this page from time to time. The version shown here, with the date above, is the one that applies.
